![]() Take-A-Part Airplane $25.00 I got this for my two year old and he LOVES it. He loves tools and anything that where he can act like daddy. With his most recent fascination with planes and helicopters... I knew this would be a hit. He loves taking it apart and sometimes putting it back together. I couldn't believe how quickly he caught on to moving the button on the drill to go from screwing it in to reverse. He loves the fact that it seems so broken and then he can completely fix it. It is very rounded and seems to be of quite tough plastic. We haven't had it long, but it seems to be one of his favorite birthday presents. We might just have to get one of the others. ![]() Fisher Price - Little People Lil' Movers Airplane $24.99 Our son has enjoyed this toy almost daily. It rarely gets put aside. He figured out how to make the sounds easily, (but not too easily). ![]() DK Big Book of Airplanes $14.99 This book was purchased for an older individual who had past experience with airplanes. The book is replete with colorful pictures and diagrams that engage someone who knows (or wants to know) the basics of airplane types. Not for the sophisticated reader, but rather for someone who wants to enjoy memories with sufficient amounts of text. Also for younger readers with an interest in planes. ![]() Airplane! $14.98 I hadn't seen Airplane for at least 10 years but decided to buy a used DVD to add to my collection. This kind of movie fits my sense of humor - kinda silly and gross in places, but still a lot of laughs. The humor is definitely 1980s with some pop-culture references that were fun to me, but would probably go over the heads of my grown children. It was also fun to see some of the actors that I hadn't seen in a few years. Even my wife, who wasn't looking forward to it, was laughing in some places. Not a cinematic masterpiece, but a fun time. |
