I had ordered this book because of the TV show, but more specifically because of the fact that Ace of Cakes is based out of Baltimore. I was completely disappointed by the content and the blitz of the book. I was hoping for step-by-step suggestions or maybe even a few recipes for the fabulous cakes that are made at Ace of Cakes. instead, I got stories about the people who work there and their quirky personalities - somewhat interesting, but not exactly what I was expecting.
