Canon PGI-5 Pigment Black Ink Tank

I've tried after-market substitutes in my Canon MP600 before but they would leave lines in my paper on the black areas -
Even after a number of cleanings of the printer head. I replaced the Truestar brand with Canon PIGMENT ink, and it worked fine.
Truestar inks worked fine with the other colors, but NOT, I repeat, NOT with the pigmented PGI-5 tank.
Prob won't try that again! BTW, I love my Canon printer!
