Everything in their new 'general' forms color schema matches this planner, but it feels too formal for my harried grad student/long-distance worker lifestyle.

I essentially only bought this particular format because the Simplicity planner design which best suited me was discontinued. That was the one design which was stylish, readable, and color-coordinated with the general starter pack--essentially because it was built right in.

The all-new pewter highlights are more sophisticated than the original 'gold' design. I also like the fact the 'daily expenses' section was transformed into a catch all for emails and phone conversations in addition to spending reccords.
