![]() Extreme Prejudice $14.98 Extreme Prejudice starts with a quick draw contest and follows traditional Western themes for the rest of the movie. Nick Nolte and the rest of the cast are exceptional, but they're hampered by an uneven script. Rip Torn does an especially good job. Some of the dialogue is pretty pedestrian, and the plot is predictable. The climax is reminiscent of The Wild Bunch - The Original Director's Cut (Two-Disc Special Edition), but without the creative staging and photography. Despite these weaknesses, I enjoyed this 1987 film and it holds up very well. In fact, it was ahead of its time in revealing some of the issues around drug trafficking across the border. |
