the knife and sheath are well made, however the knife is not what i expected based on the advertisement. one side of the knife is as pictured but the other side of the blade is flat. it is still a high quality knife it looks cheap due to the lack of design on both sides of the blade.

Ricki and I just replaced our original Cuisinart with another just like it.
The original lasted somewhere around six years. It still worked, but we were at the point where it needed some replacement parts.

Why buy another Cuisinart? Because we enjoy the process of loading the beans into the grinder, water in the tank, setting the timer, and then let 'er rip!

Hey, you can think of it as a two purpose tool, because when the timer starts the grind, it grinds the beans are a given, but the ruckus of the grind is a great alarm clock!

The only snoozers in our house that sleep through the ruckus are our dog Jake and cat Izzy.
