Whether Monster cables are overly marketed or not, these are good solid cables with a lifetime warranty. We haven't had any problems with them so far. The little color rings could be easier to work with, but that's just a bonus customization. We found out that these cables also fit better than some cheaper cables. We put an identical cheaper cable into the 1/4" jack and found it to be somewhat loose where this held tightly. Good Solid Cable.

We recently ordered copies for all managers in company to read Talent is Overrated. Under direction of the general manager, the idea of deliberate practice is being utilized throughout the group. I personally found the book interesting with many new ideas. It changed my thinking about the power I've been giving to "talent" rather than focusing on practice. It relates concepts to all areas including arts, music, academia, and business. It has changed my thinking and set me on a course of deliberate practice. Even if you don't accept the conclusions of the book, it gives you a lot to think about.

Not sure what some of the other reviewers were talking about, the cover fits perfectly and took all of 15 seconds to install. Also, it seems to be pretty weatherproof with no leakage of water so far. I would like to have some sort of elastic or drawstring to secure it in high winds but, all in all a good sturdy choice.
